Thomas Smith Group will be one of the main sponsors of this year’s Mdina Grand Prix edition, which shall kick off with the Thomas Smith Hillclimb, held on the 8th October, at Ta’ Pennellu Hill, Mellieha.

The Thomas Smith Hillclimb is a standalone event set outside the picturesque village of Mellieha, whereby competitors must tackle a fast 2.5 km stretch with thrilling bends and corners. This year’s event will be held at 16:00 through to 19:00, contrary to previous Thomas Smith Hillclimbs which were held in the mornings.

A reception will follow at the Pjazza Tal-Parocca, Mellieha where the winners will be presented with their prizes.

The annual Mdina Grand Prix events have enticed many local and international race drivers, and this year will involve over 60 participating cars, including 12 foreign participants from the United Kingdom, Italy, as well as Australia.
