Thomas Smith Group is proud to announce its annual Christmas Charity Swim 2016 in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation. Now in its 18th year, this much awaited annual event, held under the patronage of the Office of the President, will once again be held, off the pier by Independence Garden, Sliema, on the 18th of December.
The public is encouraged to participate and raise as many funds as possible in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation. On the day, registration starts at 09.30hrs and the swim is to commence at 1030hrs.
A registration form may be downloaded, retrieved from the Thomas Smith Christmas Charity Swim Facebook page, by contacting Thomas Smith offices on 22 058 058, or by emailing [email protected]. Any contribution is welcome, however we urge family, friends and colleagues, help sponsor swimmers to raise €50 per participant prior to the swim.
In 2015, 320 swimmers participated in this noble event, collecting a total of €14,000 which was donated to H.E. Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, President of Malta at San Anton Palace. Thomas Smith aims to collect even more funds this year, and is once again encouraging more swimmers to brave the cold waters.
