The Thomas Smith
Christmas Charity Swim
The Thomas Smith Christmas Charity Swim is an annual event organised in aid of Malta Community Chest Fund. Now in its 21st year, the Charity Swim will be held on December 29th 2019. We invite you to grab your favourite swimsuit and come to join us for a day of splashes, socialising, laughter and fun, while participating for a good cause and helping those in need. This much-awaited event is held under the patronage of the Office of the President.
The swim will be held off the pier by Independence Garden, Sliema.
Participants have to fill a registration form at one of the desk points – one on the promenade and a smaller one by the swimmer zone. Alternatively, beat the queues by downloading the registration form in advance, fill it in and bring it to the desk on the day.
Any contribution is welcome. Encourage friends, family and colleagues to join you or ask them to sponsor your heroic gesture with a donation to help you raise more money. If you can’t make it on the day and still want to help, you can still donate by sending a contribution via bank transfer to the following account:
HSBC Bank (Malta) PLC,
32 Merchants Street Valletta.
Account No: 033-080037-002
Swift Code: MMEBMTMT
IBAN No: MT04MMEB44336000000033080037002
100% of all donations are forwarded to the H.E. The President of Malta for the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation.
Registration starts at 09:30 and the swim will commence at 10:30.

Ensure you find parking by arriving early. Street parking is available in the neighbouring areas.
FOOD & DRINKS
Sandwiches, coffee and whiskey will be handed out to participants after the swim.
On application, participants give permission to be shown in photos and/or videos during the Christmas Charity Swim for promotional purposes.
All funds collected during the event, together with a generous contribution by Thomas Smith Group, are given to The Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation. A cheque presentation is held to present all donations to H.E. The President of Malta at San Anton Palace in early January 2019.
The success of this charitable event rests on the assistance provided by sponsors and various people, so big thanks goes to all.
